Ilamos Youth Action (IYA) is a voluntary organisation based in north London and provides sporting activities to all young people, regardless of their faith, race or culture. Our aim is to promote social interaction among young people, develop their social awareness and life skills as well as improving their health conditions.

Welcome to our activities page
We know how to make football extremely fun and beneficial to all young people with or without high level of skills. We offer regular training session to young boys.. Progression from the training session we take team to friendly matches as well league matches. Here at Ilamos FC, our football does not just provide them with physical benefits, it also creates a feeling of being special and wanted, and it encourages those children who have lower confidence to socialise with other cultures and learn to be part of a team environment. Currently we are investing heavily in the administration of the Club, and the facilities available to players and in the future, we plan to bring the club to a semi-professional level.
Some Advice for players preparing to be fit and ready for the summer competitions in Sweden and Inner City
Football fitness training is vital for a player to run around the pitch for ninety minutes. The fitter team can play at a faster pace. Stamina training for soccer is just one part of getting and staying fit. A footballer needs to be able to sprint, particularly accelerate, quickly, and requires strength to win and keep the ball. The warm-up is an essential part of injury prevention, and promotes agility. These aspects of fitness training and exercise are described here and in subsequent sections.
